ok, this time a really little thing... Of course, modeling isn't worth mentioning here. I only tried the material. This apple is made only with procedual maps. No textures .

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. The red carpet has teeth.
The brown area is made by a radial gradient ramp with noise (Screenshot --> [link] )
The apple has two uvw-map modifiers, one with map channel 1 and spherical mapping, the other with plane mapping and channel 2. With that, I blended the brown and the apple material with the gradient ramp.
And of course you're right. The apple is too round - I'll fix that
